SYNTAX:  password [old password]

Understandably, the 'password' command will allow you to change the
password you use to log into the mud.  You must supply this command
with your old password, for security purposes (such as your leaving
your keyboard for a minute and a friend deciding to 'play a joke' 
on you, ha ha).  Assuming it was typed in correctly, you must 
then type in and then verify your new password.

If, for any reason, you lose your password, you're messed up.

**** IF YOU HAVE A MUDCLIENT AND USE IT TO STORE YOUR PASSWORD, AND YOU THEN
**** LOSE IT, YOU ARE S.O.L. (Crap Outta Luck) BECAUSE WE WILL *NOT*
**** HELP YOU GET YOUR PASSWORD BACK.  If you use A CLIENT, then WRITE YOUR
**** password down somewhere!!!


Seriously, the only way you can get it back is by
proving, beyond ALL shadows of a doubt, that you are you.
If you have proof, then mail ADMIN with your story.
If you don't have concrete proof to prove you are that character,
don't even bother mailing anyone, you won't get it back.

Your password is the MOST IMPORTANT part of your character.
If you are ignorant enough to 'forget' it, you
don't deserve to get your character back.

If you use an auto-client to log in your char, you had best
write it down somewhere as you WILL NOT BE given it by us.

** The following is an excerpt taken from the 'reimbursement' help
file because it deserves to be reiterated here:

     In the case that a "friend", "roommate", or passing
     stranger takes control of your account or player
     character and then kills it, makes it go PK, suicides
     it, or causes it to do actions causing demotion or 
     other punishment, we refuse to undo the actions for 
     any reason other than a provable violation by a wizard
     of the character file via edit or patch.  Again, only
     Admin can deal with such a problem.
